Costs and Delivery Areas

The cost for delivering our goods is £10, to addresses throughout England ,Wales, Edinburgh and Glasgow. This includes courier fees, packaging costs and VAT. The duck is packaged in a polystyrene box, with a disposable ice-pack. This keeps the product chilled during transit.

For larger consignments of 20kgs or more and deliveries to N. Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Northern Scotland, please telephone for a quote.

The courier will leave the parcel with a neighbour, or in a safe place requested by you (e.g. porch), should you be out or at work when the delivery is expected: please advise us of this at the time of order via the PayPal checkout page.

Should there be any problem with delivering your order then we will advise you by email and will give you an option to change or cancel your order.

Delivery Timings

Our products are transported nationwide to an address specified by you by overnight courier; unless you advise of other requirements, our goods will normally be despatched Wednesday, for delivery Thursday. We can accomodate other delivery days, but you will need to contact us to confirm this. Saturday delivery is possible, but will incur extra delivery costs.

Other Information

We do everything we can to ensure that your duck products reach you in perfect condition. All of our duck is despatched fresh and chilled, so that you can freeze it yourself on receipt, or eat it fresh within the use-by date specified on the packaging.

If you would like to discuss your order or need cooking guidance, please contact us by telephone: we will always try to return your call within a few hours. You can also order over the telephone, should you wish.

Returns and Refunds

Please note that our goods are fresh food products, and as such are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations 2000. This means that you do not have a 7 day working day cancellation period from the day after you receive the goods from us.

Problems

Should you consider an item purchased from us to have been damaged in transit, or to be defective, please contact us immediately, and note the detail of the problem on the couriers’ delivery note. We will arrange to rectify the problem by either replacing the goods, or by refunding your account via PayPal. Please be assured that all such complaints will receive prompt attention, however, we do ask that you contact Mrs Debbie Bakewell (01299 250206) within 24 hours of receipt of such goods. Please DO remember that when you buy goods or services on the internet, you are entering a legally binding contract, and that your statutory rights are not affected.

Payments

Where payment is made via this web site, your card is debited by PayPal when the order is placed. You will receive a confirmatory email to say that your order has been received by us. Delivery details will be confirmed. Should a refund or cancellation of the order become necessary, this will be credited back to your account via PayPal, to the same card. If your card cannot be verified, or is in anyway unacceptable, then the order will not be despatched.

Privacy

Any personal data we have will not be shared with anyone, other than as necessary to complete the order, e.g. for PayPal payments, or for courier delivery.
